Vacancy: Part-Time Mathematics Teacher (KS3-KS4)
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
3 days a week Monday to Wednesday September 2023 to May 2024
Mathematics Teacher Norwich Norfolk. Are you passionate about mathematics and committed to shaping young minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them build a strong foundation in mathematics.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Specialization in mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate complex mathematical concepts.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
- Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and strategies.
