Responsibilities:

As a KS2 Teacher, your role will involve:

  • Designing and delivering captivating and innovative lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Monitoring and evaluating students’ progress, identifying areas for improvement, and offering constructive feedback.
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages a love for learning and active student participation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement imaginative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the school.

Requirements:

To be considered for the KS2 Teacher position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a relevant teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification.
  • Have experience teaching KS2 students and a solid understanding of the UK national curriculum.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Show a commitment to professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and practices.
