The Role:
- 4myschools are working with a Secondary school based in the heart of Birmingham to recruit a Science Teacher to join their school in September 2023.
- This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ECT Science Teachers.
- The ideal Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and should possess creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education.
- The preferred candidate will specialise in one area of Science (Chemistry, Biology or Physics) and will have the ability to engage students, encourage exploration, and promote research through dynamic and captivating lessons.
- This school is centrally located in Birmingham and offers a friendly and supportive environment.
- The Science teacher will be welcomed into their Science department, which boasts positive staff members with a strong team spirit and a dedication to unlocking the potential of all their students.
As the ideal Science Teacher, you will:
- Have experience teaching Chemistry, Biology or Physics up to Key Stage 5 Possess a deep subject knowledge and a passion for Science that inspires learners.
- Plan and deliver creative lessons Strive for excellent results
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience.
- Demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies and knowledge of the curriculum and examining boards.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
