The Role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive educational environment? If so, we have exciting opportunities for Teaching Assistants to join our team in Dereham. We are currently seeking individuals for both mainstream TA roles and SEN 1:1 positions in primary and secondary schools.
Main Responsibilities:
-Provide general classroom support to teachers in delivering lessons.
-Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
-Support students in their learning and help them overcome challenges.
-Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
-Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to promote student progress and well-being.
-Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Requirements:
-A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support children’s learning and development.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
-Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings on a daily supply basis or for longer-term cover.
-Patience and resilience when faced with challenging situations.
-A background in care work or recent graduate with voluntary experience would be beneficial, though TA qualifications are not essential.
