Position: Mathematics Teacher
Contract Type: Full-time (Term-Time)
Contract Duration: January to Easter (initially)
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to the needs of a diverse student body.
Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to promote active learning and foster students’ critical thinking skills.
Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and implement appropriate interventions to support individual learning needs.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect among students.
Establish effective communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum in alignment with the school’s vision and standards.
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Maths.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level, with a track record of student achievement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies.
