About Us:
4myschools is seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant at our SEN school, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students ranging from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 4 (KS4). Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting students with their learning and development.
Providing one-on-one or small group support.
Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Promoting independence and confidence in students.
Collaborating with the teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Offering emotional support and encouragement to students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualifications are not necessary for this role, but we are looking for candidates who possess:
An understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Patience and empathy when working with children with diverse needs.
A strong work ethic and a commitment to the well-being and progress of the students.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
Personal experience with SEND individuals.
Background in healthcare.
Background in psychology.
Voluntary work with SEND children and adults.
