Position Overview:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and development of students aged 11-13 within a mainstream EYFS environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to effectively manage behavioural issues.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
– Assist in the planning and preparation of educational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic progress and social development.
– Utilize effective behaviour management strategies to address any challenges that may arise within the classroom.
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA within a similar setting is highly desirable.
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships.
– Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of young learners.
