REC Audited Education compliance
4myschools holds the REC Audited Education status
4myschools was one of the first education recruitment businesses to pass the rigorous education specific inspection by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the professional body for the UK’s recruitment industry.
The REC had for a long time managed the Department for Education Supply Teacher Agency audit on behalf of the government. When the DfE stopped sponsoring this audit, REC was one of the recruitment industry bodies to step in to continue and improve this very important audit to assess amongst other things compliance for safeguarding of children.
4myschools has undergone a detailed audit to ensure that we adhere to the highest standards in recruitment and undertaking all the relevant checks when supplying teachers and non-teaching staff to schools.
The REC scheme provides successful recruiters with an accreditation that is recognised by teaching unions, local authorities and schools. It enables both schools and temporary teachers to feel confident about the quality of the agencies they deal with.
The aim of the scheme is to give head teachers peace of mind that they are working with an accredited supplier. By earning the right to display the REC Audited Education logo, 4myschools can assure schools, parents and pupils that the staff they supply are recruited properly and have on-going support.
REC is the professional body for the recruitment industry. The REC represents 3,506 corporate members who have branches across all regions of the UK.
In addition, the REC represents 4,744 individual members within the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP). All members must abide by a code of professional practice. Above all. The REC is committed to raising standards and highlighting excellence throughout the industry.
