4MySchools is recruiting for an ASD/ADHD Learning Support Assistant to work in a year one class. This school is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. They believe that every child deserves the best possible start to their educational journey. This school is looking for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the Year 1 team.
The ideal candidate is someone with a deep understanding of the unique needs of children with ASD and ADHD. Experience with Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), visual timetables, and Makaton is essential for this role. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping our students thrive.
The child you will be working with finds the classroom environment overstimulating, so you will primarily work outside of the classroom and therefor you must be confident in providing support outside the classroom Your confidence in independent work is vital as you collaborate with our team to ensure the child’s specific needs are met.
