Our esteemed education recruitment agency is currently seeking a qualified and experienced SENCo to join a reputable school in Hoddesdon. This temporary position is available to cover a maternity leave, starting immediately and lasting until December 2024.

🔍 Role Overview:
As a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of high-quality support and resources for students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
– Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies for students with SEN.
– Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs).
– Conducting assessments and monitoring progress to identify areas for improvement.
– Working closely with parents, external agencies, and the SEN team to create a cohesive support network.
– Keeping abreast of current best practices and legislative changes in the field of special education.
💡 Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status with a proven track record as a SENCo.
– In-depth knowledge of Special Educational Needs policies and procedures.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
– The ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
