4myschools are excited to work with a dynamic and supportive primary school in Broxbourne to find an inspirational Key Stage 1 Teacher ready to take the next step in their career this September. We’re looking for a dedicated professional who believes in making a difference through education and is eager to engage young minds at a crucial stage of their development.
About the Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will foster a positive and stimulating learning environment for children in either Year 1 or Year 2. Your role will focus on nurturing the intellectual and social development of our students, implementing creative methods that encourage young learners to explore and grow. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will have the opportunity to develop your career in a forward-thinking school setting.
Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
– Assess and record students’ progress and prepare them for key assessments.
– Create a vibrant classroom environment that supports various learning styles.
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan cohesive units and school-wide initiatives.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
– Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.
What We’re Looking For:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
– Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the developmental milestones typical for this age group.
– A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
– Excellent organisational and communicative skills.
– A proactive approach to continuing professional development.
