Are you passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Do you thrive in diverse educational environments? We are currently seeking ASD Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in schools across Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support and assistance to students with ASD.
– Assist in the implementation of EHCP’s and behaviour management strategies.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with ASD.
– Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
– Experience working with individuals with ASD is desirable but not essential.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
