The Role:
4myschools are working with a lovely small village school in the Dengie. They are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 3/4 Teacher to cover on a part-time basis, 2 days per week as part of a job share for the whole academic year. The school can be flexible on which days the successful candidate works.
The position is full class teaching responsibility, with a mixed class made up of Year 3 and Year 4 students. You will be working with another teacher who is covering the class on the other 3 days. The school need someone who is supportive and preferably has experience with the KS2 curriculum. Candidates who have experience within EYFS and KS1 would also be considered.
The school are welcoming and have a friendly group of staff, and a supportive headteacher. They are a very small village school, made up of 134 pupils. The position is paid to scale (Teachers Main Pay Scale) from the start (£125 to £199 per day)
Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to pupils in Key Stage 2.
Assessment and evaluation of pupil progress.
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Contributing to the development and implementation of school policies.
Full class responsibility including planning and marking.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 classroom.
Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience
A passion for education and a commitment to pupil success.
Enhanced DBS certificate subscribed to the update service (or willingness to pay for a new certificate)
