Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future of design and technology education? We are currently seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join a dynamic school community in Ipswich, Suffolk, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Design Technology to students across various year groups.
– Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
– Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and achievement.
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
– Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
– Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
– Specialisation in Design Technology or related field.
– Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level is highly desirable.
– Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
