About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across multiple year groups, ranging from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6. This long-term position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including PPA cover and interventions, ensuring every student receives tailored support to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide PPA cover for teachers, maintaining continuity in learning and ensuring a nurturing classroom environment.
– Deliver targeted interventions to support students’ academic progress and personal development.
– Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement effective strategies for supporting students with additional needs.
– Assist in the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities, fostering a stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
– HLTA qualification or equivalent experience within an educational setting.
– Proven experience working with children across different age groups and abilities.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
– A proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning, with a passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
