Our esteemed education recruitment agency is currently seeking dynamic and empathetic Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with disengaged children in an SEN School environment, providing essential support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

– Provide one-on-one and small group support to disengaged children within an SEN School setting.
– Assist classroom teachers in implementing EHCP’s and behaviour management strategies.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
– Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities and lessons.
– Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to address the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.

Requirements:

– Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those who may be disengaged or facing behavioural challenges.
– A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
– Ability to adapt and respond effectively to the varying needs and demands of the classroom environment.
– Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or special educational needs are desirable but not essential.
