Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide ADHD support within our partnered school settings on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to ensure that students with ADHD receive the tailored support they need to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to students with ADHD, both inside and outside the classroom.
– Assist in the implementation of individualised support plans for students with ADHD.
– Support the development of organisational skills, focus, and self-regulation among students with ADHD.
– Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students within the school setting.
– Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with students with ADHD within an educational setting is highly desirable.
– Strong understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning and behaviour.
– Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support is advantageous.
