Currently, we’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join schools in Lowestoft as Learning Support Assistants on a supply basis with a focus on SEMH, Trauma, and LAC support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide tailored support to students with SEMH, Trauma, and LAC backgrounds, assisting them in their academic and personal development.
– Foster a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to positive learning experiences.
– Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement personalised interventions and support strategies.
– Promote emotional well-being and resilience among students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.

– Probation Officer: Use your engagement with the justice system to support young people in schools with reintegration.
– Actor: Utilise your drama and performing arts as a therapeutic tool to enhance communication and emotional expression.
– Psychologist: Use your psychological background and experience to support children within an education setting
– Student: Gain invaluable hands-on experience while pursuing a degree or certification in education, psychology, social work, or related fields.
Requirements:
– Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, Trauma, or LAC backgrounds is desirable but not essential.
– Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
– Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
– Enhanced DBS certificate for child workforce only, or willingness to obtain one.
