Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic HLTA to cover all year groups and provide support during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. This position is to support the learning and development of our students, ensuring continuity and progress in the absence of regular classroom teachers. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff and will be provided with planning materials and support to deliver high-quality lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
– Covering lessons across all year groups in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
– Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities effectively.
– Providing support during PPA time to ensure smooth running of the school day.
– Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
– Collaborating with teaching staff to assess student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
– HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
– Experience working with children in an educational setting.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
– Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school.
– Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
