As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have Physical and Neurological Impairments, providing them with tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. – Providing one-to-one support to pupils with Physical and Neurological Impairments, including assisting with mobility, access to learning materials, and communication.
– Assisting with physical therapy exercises and other practical tasks as required.
– Collaborating with teachers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of each pupil.
– Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.

💼 Requirements:

– Previous experience working with children or young people with Physical and Neurological Impairments is highly desirable.
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of pupils with diverse needs.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
– A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
