Position Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers to provide valuable assistance both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring that students receive the attention and support they need to excel. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
– Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
– Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
– Help with classroom management and behaviour management.
– Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
– Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
– Contribute to the overall well-being and development of students.
Requirements:
– Relevant educational qualifications or experience in a similar role is preferred.
– A strong passion for education and a desire to work with students.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.
– A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
