Position Overview:
They are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across all subjects to students with SEN, tailoring their teaching methods to meet individual needs and abilities. The position is 5 days per week and will initially be for 1 term.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
– Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
– Collaborate with the SEN team and other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
– Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Strong subject knowledge of one or more secondary subjects
– Experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable but not essential.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
