£135 – £211.96 per day

Drama Teacher Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire. Are you passionate about Drama and committed to shaping young minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, working 5 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them learn and apply the core skills and techniques of practical Drama.

Responsibilities:

〰️Plan and deliver fun and engaging Drama lessons to students in KS3 – KS4.
〰️Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
〰️Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
〰️Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
〰️Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
〰️Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
〰️Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities as required.

Requirements:

〰️Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
〰️Specialism in Drama.
〰️Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate.
〰️Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
〰️Effective organizational and time-management skills.
〰️Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
〰️Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and strategies.
