Vacancy: Drama Teacher Teaching across KS3/4

£140 – £211.96 per day

Drama Teacher Thetford Norfolk. Are you passionate about Drama and committed to shaping young minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, working 4 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them learn and apply the core skills and techniques of practical Drama.


  • Plan and deliver fun and engaging Drama lessons to students in KS3 – KS4.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities as required.


  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Drama.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and strategies.
