Salary: £26,000pa – £28,000pa
40 hours per week all year round, on a rotational shift basis to cover the opening hours of the nursery division (07:30am – 06:30pm)
35 days’ holiday per year (including bank holidays)
Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner who is looking for a Primary school setting with an excellent reputation? We are currently hiring Early Years Practitioners to join our school in Chelmsford on a permanent basis. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and education to children aged 1 – 4 years old.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Creating a safe and supportive environment where children can explore, play, and socialize.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitoring and documenting children’s progress and behaviour.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Early Years).
- Previous experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care for children.
