The Role:
4myschools are working with a Secondary school in Chelmsford, Essex who are looking for an English Teacher to join their school from September. The is a fantastic opportunity for experienced or ECT English Teachers. The ideal English Teacher will be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will be creative, enthusiastic, and committed to teaching at the highest standard and raising the aspirations and achievements of the students. The English Teacher will have the ability to bring lessons to life by captivating students’ attention and encouraging them to explore and research. This secondary school is rated Good and is well known to 4myschools and is liked by our teachers; The local community often praise their students on their representation of the school.
This is a friendly, happy, and supportive Secondary school. The English teacher will be welcomed into their English department where staff are positive with strong team spirit and strive to develop the potential of all their students.
As the ideal English Teacher, you will:
- Have experience teaching up to Key Stage 4.
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature which will inspire learners.
- Plan and prepare creative lessons.
- Strive to achieve excellent results.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience.
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies and knowledge curriculum and examining boards.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
