We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to work in a primary setting as an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Learning Support Assistant (LSA.) Your role will be crucial in providing support to children with additional needs, helping them progress and thrive.
4myschools is recruiting for an EYFS LSA for a Primary school located in Colchester. You’ll be working with children who have special educational needs and your role will be instrumental in their growth and development. This school promotes inclusivity and celebrates the uniqueness of every child. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in lives of the learners.
As a LSA you will support children in the class that require additional support. As a Learning Support Assistant, your main responsibility is to provide support to students, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities. Working under the guidance of teachers and SENDCos, you will assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
This is a full time, term time role and has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be working 0830-1530 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
Work one to one and in small groups supporting children with their day.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school leadership about student progress and concerns.
Requirements:
A Level 3 in early years would be an advantage as this may help with the transition but that is not essential.
It would be beneficial if you have some knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
Passion for education and a genuine interest in contributing to students’ development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in diverse learning environments.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist in the process if needed).
