Monday – Friday, 5 Days per week

Pay: £130-£190 per day 

The Role:

I am working with an excellent school located near Rayleigh who are looking for a Female PE Teacher to cover Maternity Leave from January 2023 to February half term. This then has the potential to extend until Easter.

The School:

The School is a large comprehensive secondary school for students aged 11-18. They have a large sixth form and are located in the centre of Hockley. The school need someone who is passionate and can show dedication to the PE department and work well as a team. The staff are friendly and approachable and strive to make everyone feel welcome. The school has a high staff retention rate, as they treat every teacher as a valued and respected member of their team.

What is expected of you?

  • To be a supportive and encouraging teacher with a great work ethic.
  • Planning and Marking for all classes
  • A sound understanding of teaching PE to KS5
  • Able to engage students in each and every lesson.
  • Parents Evenings
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Hold QTS

We will always treat you as a valued member of the 4myschools team.  You will have a choice of how you would like to be paid, including our PAYE with no weekly fee’s or employers tax costs passed onto you. We pay fairly and transparently, and wherever possible will pay to scale ensuring that we meet Agency Worker Regulations after 12 weeks with a school.  You are paid weekly in arrears, receiving an online payslip  with a weekly pay showing your HMRC deductions and holiday pay breakdown.
