Graduate Teaching Assistant Norwich Norfolk
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Norwich, Norfolk on daily supply and/or longer-term assignments. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant your primary focus will be supporting classroom activities and contributing to creating an overall positive and productive learning environment. Responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Assisting the lead teacher with instructional tasks and classroom management.
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
Preparing instructional materials and resources.
Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour.
Collaborating with teachers and other staff to implement educational programs and interventions.
Assisting with administrative tasks, such as grading and maintaining records.
Requirements for the Graduate Teaching Assistant:
GCSE’s or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
Enhanced DBS check (assistance can be provided herewith if needed).
