Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Infant School Teacher to join school in Bushey. The successful candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality education in the early years. As an Infant School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
- Assess children’s progress and development, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably in an infant school.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
