4myschools are working with a school in the Thetford area who are looking for a Year 2 teacher for a short term contract. The school believe that the best environment for learning is one that is nurturing and supportive. Children are encouraged to develop their own special qualities and to accept different qualities in others, working together to recognise feelings and to channel them in constructive ways. The children learn about their community and how to respond to each other with sensitivity and respect. The school team tailor lessons to the interests and curiosities of the children in the classroom, creating an ownership and excitement for learning.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a teacher which could also lead to a long term/permanent position.
As the ideal candidate, you will:
- Have experience teaching upper KS1
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
- Be flexible and reliable to take on extra curricular duties
