The Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and supporting the learning journey of students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, tailored to meet the needs of each child within the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons that cater to the individual learning needs of SEN students.
– Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and therapists to develop personalized learning strategies.
– Monitor student progress, assess their attainment levels, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
– Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, maintaining open lines of communication to facilitate effective partnership working.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1 students.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
– Commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality within the classroom and school community.
