Are you an experienced LSA who is looking to take a step up into a lead role and become part of a small team of LSAs in a Primary School?

This position is to work become the Lead LSA in a Colchester based Primary School. You will become part of a small team of LSAs who support pupils throughout the school.

In addition to the responsibilities as a 1:1 LSA, as the lead LSA you will also be responsible for modelling best practice and mentoring/supporting your fellow LSAs. You will be working together to ensure high quality teaching support is consistent throughout the school

Requirements for Lead LSA Job- Colchester – Essex:

• Previous experience of supporting SEND
• Knowledge and strategies for supporting children’s individual development
• Ability to manage behaviours on a class and 1:1 basis
• Patience and understanding
• The ability to tailor your approach to meet your child’s needs
• Skills in teamwork
