The schools are supportive and welcoming inclusive educational settings, dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to children with SEND. We are recruiting for individuals who are committed to creating an enriching and nurturing learning environment.
As a LSA, you will play a pivotal role in helping our students with autism spectrum disorders excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one or small group support to children with autism, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
Assisting teachers in developing and implementing specialized learning plans.
Creating a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and included.
Supporting students during structured activities, social interactions, and sensory experiences.
Tracking and documenting progress to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
Relevant qualifications and experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build strong rapport with children.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proximity to Harwich, Essex, or the willingness to commute.
