We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic supply teacher to join our vibrant school community in Wickford for a long-term maternity cover position in Year 4.
Position Details:
Role: Long-Term Supply Teacher (Year 4)
Duration: Maternity Cover (Academic Year – Permanent Contract Possible)
Start Date: September 2024
Location: Wickford
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a dynamic and cohesive curriculum.
Uphold the school’s values and ethos, promoting a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusivity.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
