4myschools are recruiting for our next cohort of amazing LSAs! We require experienced SEN/D LSAs for supply work, based in your local schools.
We are recruiting for this position to replace the LSAs that have transitioned into permanent positions in the schools we have introduced them to.
Your previous experience can come from Primary, Secondary, SEN/D Schools or Alternative Provisions; as we work with all of these types of settings in Colchester.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience of:
- Supporting SEN/D
- With children and young people (aged 3-25)
- Knowledge and strategies for:
- supporting individual development, including adapting your approach and the learning activity to meet their needs/incorporate their interests
- Conducting observations
- Providing feedback to colleagues and other professionals
- Ability to manage behaviours on a class and 1:1 basis
- Patience and understanding
- Skills in teamwork and ability to work using your own initiative
- Clear communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Availability to work 8:30am-3:20pm (From 1 day up to 5 days a week)
