Pay – £90-110 per day depending on experience

Overview:

Nursery Deputy Jobs South Walsham – 4myschools are recruiting for a Nursery Deputy to join part of a founding team at a Pre-School in South Walsham for a September 2024 start.  This role includes overseeing the operation of the pre-school to the highest standards, as well as being responsible for overseeing SEND needs and advising staff with their children’s PLP’s, SEN funding applications and funding. If you have a passion for early childhood education with a strong ability to lead and motivate, we would love to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience working within the EYFS and hold a L3 qualification on EYS Education.

Responsibilities:

• Working in partnership with the preschool Manager to put into practice the changes and ideas that
  are required to achieve the school’s vision.
• Ensure full care and oversight of the children including the safe entry and exit of children from the Nursery
• Taking the lead with activity planning to create a caring and stimulating environment that
  promotes learning through play.
• Role of SENCO – Overseeing and advising staff with their children’s PLP’s, SEN funding applications
  and updating SEN documentation as and when required.
• 2nd in charge overseeing staff and pupils
• Role of acting DSL in the absence of the Manager
• Manage and organise the Nursery including overseeing trips and risks assessments
