I am currently working with a School located near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk who are in need of a qualified PE teacher to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis from April 2024.
The school teach all subjects using a practical approach and it is via this approach that the school ensure all of its pupils can access the learning.
You will be employed to work part-time (0.6) teaching on Monday – Wednesday each week. You will be working with KS3 and KS4, teaching groups of up to 14 children following the PE curriculum.
Requirements:
- QTS
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Valid Enhanced, Child workforce DBS – that is registered with the update service (we can assist with applications if your current DBS status does not meet these details)
- Availability to work Monday – Wednesday 8:30am-3:30pm
- Experience teaching PE
- Experience of working with complex moderate learning difficulties would be advantageous.
