Teaching Assistant, 3 days per week Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire
3 days per week – Monday, Thursday and Friday to work with a Year 1 class
Pay:- £85 – £95 per day depending on experience

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, 3 days per week to work at a Primary School in Bishops Stortford. This will be to work within their Year 1 class. The school offers a supportive environment with room for progression.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide classroom support to teachers
– Assist with lesson planning and preparation
– Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with teaching staff and school leaders
Requirements:
Experience working with children especially those with special educational needs, preferably in an educational or care setting.
Passion for education and supporting student development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
Relevant qualifications/certificates (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, Makaton, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
