Pay: £153 – £211 Paid to scale

Job Type: Part-Time Long-Term

Job Summary:

This position is a part-time role, focusing on teaching students across Key Stage 1. The school is looking for two or three days cover per week, with flexibility for the successful candidate to choose which two days they can work. As a member of their team, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds, fostering a love of learning, and ensuring a positive educational experience for their students.

Responsibilities:

– Provide individualised attention and support to students, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
– Establish positive relationships with students, and the wider school community, promoting open communication and involvement in student education.
– Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour management strategies and resolving conflicts when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Hold a relevant teaching qualification or certification
– Experience in teaching KS1
– Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and best practices in primary education.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
– A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to the school’s ethos and vision.
