The Role:

4myschools are working with a primary school in Ongar, Essex who are looking for a primary teacher to work in one of their classes for a maternity leave cover from September. The year group for this role hasn’t been confirmed yet but will either be in upper KS1 or lower KS2. The ideal teacher will have previous experience teaching across Years 1 to 4 and be confident, creative, and enthusiastic. This vacancy has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

This is a small, friendly, happy, and supportive, village primary school with split year groups. The school has a Christian ethos and was rated Good by Ofsted in their most recent inspection. Staff are positive and feel well supported and strive to develop the potential of all their pupils; they set high expectation for their learning and behaviour and enrich social and emotional development.

As the ideal Primary Teacher, you will:

Have experience teaching across KS1 and KS2, particularly in years 1-4.
Plan and deliver creative, motivating, and engaging lessons.
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience.
Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies and knowledge of UK Curriculum.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Have the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
