The role:
4myschools are working with a 1FE primary school in Harwich, Essex who are looking for an energetic and engaging Reception teacher to join their team for the 23/24 academic year. The position is initially a long-term supply contract but has potential to be come a permanent appointment as early as January 2024!
A the successful teacher you will be a proactive and positive member of the team, who will provide enthralling learning activities and nurture the children. As a Reception teacher you will be the children’s first experience of school life and the aim, in addition to developing the children in line with the EYFS curriculum, is to help them settle in and build foundations of a love of school and encourage their curiosities.
The school are looking for someone who is passionate about the EYFS, who fosters good working relationships with parents and carers and who has high expectations of the children they teach.
As the ideal Reception teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status
- Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
- Be reliable
- Have competencies in building rapport and liaising with the children you teach and fellow professionals you work alongside.
- Have an Enhanced, Child workforce, Disclosure, that is on the update service. This is preferred but not essential as we can help you apply for this
