Position: SENCO Birmingham
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Days: 3 – 5 days per week
Duration: September 2023 – April 2024 – Potential for a permanent position
Salary: Competitive, based on scale plus TLR
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SENCO to join a repeatable primary school in the Birmingham area.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role is non-class based, and the school are flexible to both Part-Time and Full-Time appointments.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and inclusion
- Work effectively within a dedicated team
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Possess a good understanding of successful approaches and interventions for supporting pupil progress
- Stay updated on the new SEN Framework and Code of Practice
- Exhibit strong organisational skills and the ability to manage the work of others within the school.
- While previous SENCO experience is not essential, the successful candidate must hold the National SENCO qualification.
