4myschools are working with a primary school in Harwich, Essex who are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support across KS1 and KS2. This Teaching Assistant role is varied and you will be expected to work with a variety of ages from 4-11 as well as supporting pupils with learning difficulties. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be fun and energetic, have previous childcare experience and be committed and dedicated. Typically, you will be required to support learning and social wellbeing and will work from 08:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Earning potential will be between £70-£80 per day, depending on experience.
This is a small, friendly primary school who encourage all their students to reach their full potential and were graded Good in their most recent Ofsted inspection. This role has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
As the ideal Teaching Assistant, you will:
Be flexible,
Have previous childcare experience,
Be friendly, approachable, and able to work well as part of a team,
In this role, you will be expected to:
To assess and monitor pupils’ achievements and behaviour, working closely with the teacher and SENDCo,
Tailor fun and interactive sessions to suit the needs of the pupils,
Encourage and promote independence,
Ensure personal, social, emotional, and mental health needs are met throughout the day.
