Vacancy: Unqualified English Instructor Norwich
Part-time – 3 days a week
Required ASAP – until the end of the summer term

We are looking for Unqualified English Instructors in Ipswich to provide cover in a number of schools throughout the area on both a long-term and short-term basis.

Position Overview

As a Unqualified English Instructor you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for English and shaping the academic success of students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and providing support to students to help them achieve their full potential in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons to students across KS3-KS4
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and critical thinking.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in mathematics education.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field or experience teaching English
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
