We are looking for Unqualified Science Instructors in Stowmarket to provide cover in a number of schools throughout the area on both a long-term and short-term basis.
Position Overview
As a Unqualified Science Instructor you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for Science and shaping the academic success of students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and providing support to students to help them achieve their full potential in Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Science lessons to students across KS3-KS4
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Science education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field or experience teaching Science
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
